How to take apart Minolta C35 lens by remove 4 screws.

Peel the front leather skin to see the screws

 

 

This camera model need to remove the self timer knob. We can use tools

for two-holes-head screw.

But if we don’t have that tool we can break it by flat head screw driver or plier pry it out.

 

 

Two screws at the left side of the lens to be removed.

 

 

And two screws at the right side of the lens.

 

 

All four screws have been removed.

 

 

Simply pry the conner of rear lens plate. May be we have to pull/bend the bottom cover or we can remove it by unscrew the bottom cover to easy to remove lens and plate.

 

 

Wires that link from lens to body need to be cut.

 

 

The lens and rear plate has been removed.

 

 

 

 

*** For this model we need to remove the aperture blades that separated in the body.

Most range finder cameras such as Cannon, Minolta, Yashica. And some model of Konica, the aperture blades is in the lens.

So for this model we have to remove it out.

 

 

 

 

In this case, we need both part to be modified for digital camera.
